Dr Michael P Barber has published a new paper on the fulfillment of the law of Moses as it relates to the teaching of Christ on divorce in Matthew. This is an excellent paper and it addresses the inconsistencies and concessions in the law of Moses that the prophets said was 'bad law.' In effect, the position taken is that hard cases make bad law, and that in the New Covenant age this bad law is surpassed.
